Sleek, black, and wonderfully comfortable to ride, Bruce has a very important job in our therapeutic program: building confidence in our independent riders. For many riders, moving from the walk into the faster pace of the trot can be a huge milestone. Bruce gives them the opportunity to experience that excitement in a safe, comfortable, and supportive way. He helps our riders discover, “I can do this!” — and that confidence often carries far beyond the arena. Bruce does have one little bad habit: he likes to crib, sucking in air when he can. To help manage this behaviour and protect him from the problems it can cause, Bruce wears a crib collar while he is in his stall
