Tucker has a very special job, he gives people the opportunity to experience the magic and bond of a horse even when riding isn’t possible for them. Proudly pulling his custom-built, wheelchair-accessible cart, Tucker takes his riders — or perhaps we should say his royal subjects — down the road, along our pathways, and even through obstacle courses. For some of our riders, that peaceful drive behind Tucker is more than just a ride. It’s the freedom to get out, explore, connect with a horse, and experience that special feeling that only horses can provide. Tucker wears special protective boots on his hooves to help shield them from pavement and stones. Keeping his feet healthy and comfortable is essential to keeping Tucker doing the job he loves.
