Wayne is always looking for attention, and if there’s a treat nearby, you can be sure he’ll find it! His playful personality makes him a favourite with our riders, but what he really loves is getting to work. Wayne especially enjoys our obstacle courses, where he helps riders develop confidence, focus, and the skills they need to become more independent in the saddle. Watching a rider learn to navigate an obstacle on their own — with Wayne patiently helping them along — is one of his favourite jobs. This year, Wayne is wearing shoes to protect his front feet, which developed some noticeable cracks that could have interfered with his ability to do the work he loves. With proper farrier care and ongoing attention, we're giving Wayne the best chance to stay comfortable and continue helping our riders.
