After a full year of training, Coal is now beginning his journey into our recreational riding program. He may be a big and powerful horse, but underneath that strength is a wonderfully soft touch. Coal has already shown us that he has a definite preference when it comes to his favourite activities. Give him an obstacle course or a trail, and he is happy! The indoor arena and sand ring? Well… he’d much rather be out exploring. Coal is still working on his confidence, so his training will continue before he officially joins our therapeutic riding team. We believe in giving each horse the time and support they need to become confident in their job — especially when that job involves helping our riders feel confident too.
