Diego is the kind of horse who gives his all to every rider who sits in his saddle. Smooth-gaited, willing, and patient, he has a special way of making riders feel safe enough to learn and confident enough to try. Diego is a wonderful teacher for our Rookie Riders and Level 2 riders, helping them learn to walk and trot — both with and without a saddle. He is also happy to be lunged while our riders focus on developing their balance, position, and confidence. But Diego’s talents don’t stop in the saddle. He loves to be brushed and is a regular star in our horsemanship classes, where riders get to learn about grooming, handling, and building that special bond between horse and human. Diego is currently wearing gel pads in his shoes to help manage discomfort and support his comfort while working. These specialized supports are part of the ongoing care that allows this incredible horse to continue giving his all to our riders.
